Unmanned Aircraft Systems Engineering

Unmanned Aircraft Systems Engineering is a faculty and student engineering consortium that develops payloads and new applications for the UAS industry at the University of North Dakota.

The concept for the UASE Team first came about back in 2000 with the AEROCam and Agcam projects in conjunction with the aviation department.

The Mission of the North Dakota State College of Science Center for Nanoscience Technology Training (CNTT) is to support economic development within the state of North Dakota. The CNTT will meet the increasing need for technically skilled workers in the emerging technologies located throughout the Red River Valley, North Dakota and the surrounding region through the creation and delivery of educational and training programs based upon industry standards.

Center of Excellence for Advanced Electronics Design & Manufacturing (CAEDM)

CAEDM's mission includes spurring economic development in electronics, manufacturing and related disciplines. The center performs economically significant and market-driven research and development in electronics, software, chemistry, physics, coatings, polymeric materials and mechanical engineering with private sector partners and collaborators.

Center for Nanoscale Science and Engineering (CNSE)

North Dakota State University's Center for Nanoscale Science and Engineering, established in 2002, conducts large-scale, multidisciplinary research for government and industry. CNSE's Research 2 facility includes 77,000 sf of cleanroom, laboratory and engineering spaces that house its design, synthesis, fabrication and characterization capabilities. Core competencies include wireless miniaturized electronics design and prototype fabrication, research on polymeric and hard protective coatings, and on materials for electronics and energy conversion.
