FMS Joins Other Fast-Paced High-Growth Tech Companies at Park
FARGO, ND—Further solidifying its commitment to the Fargo, ND community, Feed Management Systems recently announced the relocation of its software development facilities to the NDSU Research & Technology Park, the 55-acre complex that is home to a group of highgrowth technology companies.

NDSU created the Park in 2001 to help promote economic development—particularly in the area of applied research and technological discovery. Since then, the Red River Valley has emerged as a technology center, particularly in the areas of RFID and agriculture.

FMS transferred its development staff to Fargo in 2002 to achieve tighter collaboration with Microsoft’s Great Plains Software. Today, that collaboration has enabled FMS to become a Microsoft Business Solutions Certified Partner and emerge as a global leader in developing software applications for the worldwide commercial feed industry.

Rich Reynertson, CEO of FMS, explained his company’s rationale for the move. “Fargo is a great place to be if you’re a software developer. We saw the benefit of being in Fargo with Microsoft. The NDSU Park offers terrific opportunities for collaboration with the university and with other companies that are housed there. And we’re very enthusiastic about the possibilities that exist,” he said.

Tony Grindberg, executive director of the NDSU Research & Technology Park, said that “FMS is an exciting, fast-paced, high growth company—the type of organization that we welcome at the Park. We are optimistic that FMS will bring new ideas and approaches to our university and business partners and that we will all continue to contribute to the economic vitality of this region.”

Effective October 1, FMS’ development facility will be located at NDSU Research Technology Park, 1805 NDSU Research Park Drive, Fargo, ND 58102. Our phone number is 763.560.8139.

FMS Corporate headquarters remain in Brooklyn Center, MN.
